The UV METER is, as its name suggests, a device that measures the intensity of UV rays.
The development team is seriously hardcore. Sales are handled by Sunbarrier100, a brand that stakes its reputation on complete light blockage (100% light-blocking rate). Manufacturing is done by Yaguchi Electronics Industry, an R&D-driven company in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, that produces medical devices and other equipment. And the design is by our beloved TENT.
What these three companies came together to create is a machine for proving "zero." Typical simple checkers display readings using a "UV Index (Strong/Medium/Weak)," but this device shows precise numerical values in "μW/cm² (microwatts)." This brutally and accurately exposes the difference between "mostly blocked (low values)" and "completely blocked (a value of zero)."
